ASU Native American Alumni Chapter invites nominations 2008 Native American Alumnus of the Year Award

The Arizona State University Native American Alumni Chapter invites nominations for candidates for the 2008 Native American Alumnus of the Year Award. This award, established in 1996 and presented annually, recognizes an outstanding ASU Native American Alumnus who has excelled in his or her profession and has provided leadership in his or her profession and local community. The award recognizes excellence that ASU alumni bring to their communities. The award will be presented at the 14th Annual Josiah N. Moore Benefit Dinner on October 18, 2008 at Tempe Mission Palms, Tempe, AZ. The nominee must be a Native American graduate of ASU. Please complete the attached form no later than October 7, 2008 at 5:00 p.m. and mail to the committee at the addressshown on the attachment. - see details here

ASU Homecoming 2008; King & Queen

ASU Homecoming 2008 Maroon & Golden Anniversary Celebrating 50 years of ASU Become a part of ASU history and nominate a student for the Homecoming King and Queen. Any Junior, Senior, or Graduate Student with a 2.5 GPA or higher is eligible. Students may be nominated by faculty, staff, other students, or themselves. ASU MLK Committee invites nominations for Student Servant Leadership Award

The MLK Committee is requesting your help in identifying a student servant leadership awardee. The student must be currently enrolled full-time, exemplify the ideals of servant leadership and have a track record of commitment through volunteer service. Please submit a written recommendation for a student in your area not later than 5 p.m. October 3, 2008 through campus mail to MC 0205, fax 480/965-7663 or E-mail mmjcap@asu.edu.
