There are 562 federally recognized American Indian Tribes in the United States. Arizona is home to 22 of them. The rich cultural heritage of Arizona and ideal location of Arizona State University allows for building new relationships with Tribes and strengthening existing partnerships.

The office works to develop strategic alliances between Arizona State University and Tribes. These partnerships encourage Tribes to utilize university resources and expertise to advance their communities.
