Holiday Sale Extravaganza

Set for November 26, 2007
The Devils’ Workshop will sponsor a university-wide Holiday Sale Extravaganza from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 26, in the Memorial Union Arizona Room.

The sale will be open to staff, faculty, students and student organizations from all ASU campuses who wish to sell hand-made artwork and crafts, CDs, clothing, photography and other items.

Sellers can have a table all day, or any portion of the day they can attend. There will be no entry fee, but participants are asked to contribute an item worth a minimum of $50 for a silent auction.

Proceeds from the auction will benefit a scholarship or other endeavor yet to be decided.

Participants are encouraged to demonstrate their art or craft during the day.

Application forms will be available at the ASU Office of Media Relations and on the Devils’ Workshop website, http://www.asu.edu/vppa/art. A photo of a sample sales item must accompany the application form.

Technology Training Program - Sponsored by the Office of Human Resources
The ASU Technology Training Program is now offering ASU employees computer training courses. Whether you want to learn more about the functionality within Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, or PowerPoint, there are courses available for you at every level. By educating yourself on the “Tips & Tricks” during these courses, you become more effective and efficient, allowing you to do more with less.
The Learning and Performance Solutions Group of the Office of Human Resources has teamed up with New Horizons Computer Learning Centers to offer a comprehensive catalog of online and instructor-led training classes to ASU employees that focus on computer software, technical and business skills.
