Kevin McIlvoy, retired Regents Professor of Creative Writing at New Mexico State University, is adjunct faculty for the MFA Program at Warren Wilson College. He has published five books, most recently a novel, Hyssop, and a short story collection, The Complete History of New Mexico. His latest fiction has appeared in Harper’s Magazine and Black Warrior Review. He has been a board member for the Association of Writers and Writing Programs, and has served on the board of the Council for Literary Magazines and Small Presses.
