Dorothy Chan is currently working towards her MFA in Creative Writing (poetry) at Arizona State University. Last May, she graduated cum laude in English with a minor in History of Art from Cornell University. She is a 2012 Pushcart Prize nominee, for her poem “Ikebukuro Train Rides” featured in The Writing Disorder. Her work has also been featured in Cha: An Asian Literary Journal. She was the 2011 recipient of the Corson-Browning Award for Poetry and the 2011 and 2012 recipient of the Robert Chasen Memorial Prize from Cornell University’s English Department.
