Robin Reagler

Robin Reagler grew up in rural Arkansas where her parents run a dollar store. She was a Teaching / Writing Fellow at the University of Iowa Writers' Workshop. Her work has appeared or is forthcoming in Ploughshares, Ironwood, North American Review, Denver Quarterly, and Poetry Miscellany. She teaches and lives in New York City, but plans to move west soon.

As I/As/I--
I really did spend my summers in Mississippi. There were real armadillos--awkward, tentative, surrounded by shell. The exercise, as I saw it, was one in simultaneity--the mind in motion, multiple images--toward imago or in lieu of. I don't use slashes any more.
