Memory as a process of scarring, absence of memory as the loss of ground/self (consciousness) conscience? Forgetful of history. If we forget, it will happen again. We want to remember. Revise in dreams. Recurrence and repression, principles of civilization. But memory is also a burden. We want to forget.
