Institutions To Be Left Obscure

Given to the problem, attracting it,

we arrive early for the funeral,

the gates closed, the birds singing invisibly.

Instruments tell us

we detect only the melodic bass line

of their highly ornamented recession and salience.

Attracted to the difficulty, numbers are ironic

in the Kierkegaardian sense;numbers are not publicists

but like birds singing and invisible beyond the cemetery gates.

Now that we are early,

naked hearing catches the overflow,

numbers singing and invisible beyond the cemetery are not publicists.

We are attractive to the difficulty

when numbers blaze a solution but postpone it.

Then close your eyes.
