Booksales & BooksigningsWhere to Buy Books

Each year the ASU Bookstore pre-orders books by our conference faculty to meet the needs of our participants. Books are available for purchase during the conference at an on-site ASU Bookstore location for no additional fee.

Conference participants may elect to purchase books by conference faculty ahead of time by contacting the ASU Bookstores online.  As the conference dates approach, the ASU Bookstores create a special online store specifically for the ASU Desert Nights, Rising Stars Writers Conference.

The Piper Center is proud to be partnered with the following booksellers in association with the Desert Nights, Rising Stars Writers Conference.

Booksigning Events

There are many opportunities during the ASU Writers Conference to have your books signed by conference faculty. Each evening reading is followed by a booksigning session and each afternoon will feature a "Meet the Writers" group booksigning.

Writers and instructors who teach class sessions, participate on panels, or perform readings on a given day will be scheduled to attend the group booksigning late that same afternoon, in a session titled "Meet the Writers". Please check the conference schedule to see when specific Writers Conference faculty members are scheduled to participate in the "Meet the Writers" group booksigning.

Please note: Writers Conference faculty that are scheduled to perform evening readings will only sign books after their evening reading. Several other faculty members will be scheduled to attend more than one group booksigning.

The "Meet the Writers" group booksigning location will be identified in the 2006 Writers Conference program that participants will receive when they arrive on-site.
