Aaron Shurin

Aaron ShurinAaron Shurin is the author of a dozen books, including the poetry collections Involuntary Lyrics and The Paradise of forms: Selected Poems as well as the acclaimed collection of essays, Unbound: A Book of AIDS. He’s received fellowships in creative nonfiction from the National Endowment for the Arts and the San Francisco Arts Commission, and in poetry from the California Arts Council and the Gerbode Foundation. Shurin co-directs the MFA in Writing Program at the University of San Francisco.
