Betty Webb


Betty Webb is the author of Desert Noir, Desert Shadows, Desert Run, and Desert Wives. Because of the success of her Lena Jones series, Desert Wives, is in development to become a Lifetime TV movie. Ms. Webb also contributes a Small Press column for Mystery Scene magazine and is Writer-in-Residence at the Scottsdale Public Library, where she teaches writing. As a journalist and literary critic for more than twenty years, Ms. Webb, a resident of Scottsdale, Arizona, where her detective Lena Jones lives—has interviewed some of the most well-known writers in America. Among them are John Updike, Norman Mailer, John Irving, Dean Koontz, Sue Grafton, and Mary Higgins Clark.
