Upcoming Opportunities - Wales

Over the 2009 calendar year, the Piper Center’s Program for Global Engagement began a new partnership with the creative writing program at Aberystwyth University in Wales. Over the Thanksgiving break, Professor Jewell Rhodes and an MFA student visited Aberystwyth’s creative writing program and director, novelist Jem Poster, who came to Tempe for the 2009 and 2011 Desert Nights, Rising Stars Writers Conference. This exchange partnership will continue in 2011-12; applications will be due in fall, 2011.
