In Summer 2008, MFA students will have the opportunity to travel to China, touring the country from Beijing on the eastern coast to the Tibetan plateau in the west. During their travels, the students will spend weeks teaching a creative writing course to faculty and students in Sichuan, an inland province in the southwest nestled between fertile plains and gorges, and the snowcapped foothills of the Himalayas.
