Emeritus Writing Workshops

The Virginia G. Piper Center for Creative Writing and the Emeritus College are pleased to continue their partnership in offering Emeritus Writing Workshops for Emeritus College members and their spouses or domestic partners.

In these craft-intensive small group workshops, Emeritus College members will have the opportunity to read and respond to the writing of their peers, offering a supportive, constructive environment in which to master the craft of writing creatively.

Each workshop session is led by an experienced student in the ASU Master of Fine Arts program in Creative Writing, hand selected for their distinguished ability to hone talent and focus group discussion. Over the course of the workshop, this mentor-instructor will guide participants in becoming better, more accomplished writers.

Each course costs $120 and lasts for ten consectutive weeks. Courses will be held at the Emeritus College Conference Room and are limited to five participants to ensure adequate time for one-on-one mentoring.
