• Schedule examination(s) (TOEFL, GRE, GMAT).
• Take examination(s) (offered in several locations throughout Mexico from September through May).

• ASU application deadlines vary by college and department (please double-check dates with your department at http://www.asu.edu/colleges/).
• GRE, TOEFL and GMAT computer-based tests are offered every weekday and every second Saturday of the month in Mexico City and Monterrey. For more locations, dates and registration information, please visit the ETS Web sites:
  • TOEFL

January - February

• Prepare all the graduate admission requirements in order to apply to ASU. Be aware that you will be required to complete the online general application, pay a $50 nonrefundable application fee, send official transcripts, send official test scores (TOEFL, GRE), have attained the equivalent of a U.S. bachelor’s degree from an international institution, send support materials (letter of recommendation, a statement of purpose, etc) and send proof of measles immunization. Please refer to FAQ section “III – Applying Students.”

• Interested candidates must be admitted to ASU before submitting their application to CONACYT. Please begin by reviewing the requirements to apply to CONACYT.
• CONACYT will receive applications for the first period from February 17 to March 9.
• Check ASU general application deadline (please refer to the application requirements for more information). Please double-check dates with your department since they may vary between ASU colleges and departments.

March

• CONACYT will receive applications for the second period from March 12 to May 18.

April

• CONACYT acceptance notification for the first period candidates is April 18.

May

• The CONACYT application final deadline for the second period is May 18.

June

• CONACYT acceptance notification for the second period candidates is June 30.

October/November

• ASU/CONACYT Fellowship Program info session are held in Mexico for interested students. For more information contact the Office of Pan American Initiatives.

November

• CONACYT’s annual call.
• Contact your ASU department for more information on the ASU/CONACYT Fellowship program application process, requirements and deadline.

December

• If CONACYT’s annual call occurs in December, apply to ASU per ASU’s deadline. After accepted to ASU, apply to CONACYT following CONACYT’s deadline requirements.
