David A. Edwards
Assistant Professor, Department of Technology Management

Dr. Edwards received his doctorate in civil engineering at Carnegie Mellon University , where he conducted research on environmental fate and transport processes, particularly those dealing with surfactant sorption and surfactant solubilization of hydrophobic organic compounds. He earned his M.S. in geology at Texas A&M University, where he studied hydrogeology, focusing on mathematical modeling and calibration processes related to radionuclide transport in the subsurface. Before joining Arizona State University, Dr. Edwards worked for Kennecott Utah Copper Corporation and Haley & Aldrich, Inc., where he was co-inventor of a patented environmental remediation technology. In addition to his environmental fate and transport background experience, Dr. Edwards has interests in hazardous waste management, terrorism and homeland security, and emergency and disaster management. He is a Certified Hazardous Materials Manager, a certified American Red Cross Emergency Response instructor, and a certified Community Emergency Response Team instructor. Dr. Edwards is currently involved in conducting mathematical modeling of groundwater flow processes; developing new or improved environmental remediation processes; and applying science, technology and management principles to issues in disaster preparedness, mitigation and response.

William R. Peterson
Assistant Professor, Department of Technology Management

Dr. Peterson received his Ph.D. from The Ohio State University in industrial and systems engineering in June 1995. His background includes fifteen years of industrial experience in a wide range of industries and in both engineering and operations management. He is a past president of the American Society for Engineering Management; Epsilon Mu Eta, The Engineering Management Honor Society; and president-elect of the Institute of Industrial Engineers' Society for Engineering and Management Systems. Dr. Peterson's research interests include engineering economics, the introduction of new technologies, and engineering/technology education.

Anshuman Razdan
Associate Professor, Division of Computing Studies and Director of the Advanced Technology Innovation Collaboratory (ATIC) and the I3DEA Lab

Dr. Razdan has been a pioneer in computing based interdisciplinary collaboration and research at Arizona State University. His research interests include geometric design, computer graphics, document exploitation and geospatial visualization and analysis. He is the principal investigator and a collaborator on several federal grants from agencies including NSF, NGA and NIH. He has a B.S. in mechanical engineering from REC Kurukshetra, India; and a M.S. in mechanical engineering and Ph.D. in computer science, both from Arizona State University.
