Jianxin (Daniel) Chi
Assistant Professor, Department of Economics, Finance and Marketing
Dr. Chi received his Ph.D. in finance from Mays Business School at Texas A&M University in 2005. He received his M.B.A. from Idaho State University and his bachelor's of economics from Qingdao University, in China. Before joining Arizona State University, he was an assistant professor of finance at North Dakota State University . His research interests include corporate finance, corporate governance, managerial compensation, and mergers and acquisitions. His research has been published in Financial Management. Dr. Chi's teaching interests include investments, corporate finance, and financial markets and institutions. Before his academic career, Dr. Chi spent several years in the fields of operations management and international business.

Louise Nemanich
Assistant Professor, Department of Management
Dr. Nemanich received her Ph.D. in strategic management from the C. T. Bauer College of Business at the University of Houston. Dr. Nemanich's research concentrates on innovation capabilities, organizational learning, leadership, and mergers and acquisitions. Her current research focuses on absorptive capacity in R&D teams, exploration and exploitation learning styles, the role of leaders in organizational learning, improvisation and radical innovation, and knowledge transfer. Prior to joining Arizona State University, Dr. Nemanich held senior executive positions in the United States and overseas in the energy industry. Her talent for teaching has been recognized with the Provost's Award for Teaching Excellence from the University of Houston.
Adegoke Oke
Assistant Professor, Department of Economics, Finance and Marketing
Dr. Oke received his Ph.D. from Cranfield School of Management at Cranfield University, in the United Kingdom, in June 2000. He earned his M.B.A from Cardiff Business School at the University of Wales in 1995, and his B.Eng. from Ahmadu Bello University, in Nigeria in 1986. His research focuses on managing the challenges of implementing innovations in organizations as well as supply chain flexibility and the development of new products and services in supply chains and networked organizations. Dr. Oke is a member of Decision Sciences Institute, the European Operations Management Association (EurOMA) and has published articles in several national and international journals.
Shakil Quayes
Assistant Professor, Department of Economics, Finance and Marketing
Dr. Quayes received his Ph.D. in economics from the University of Illinois in 2000. His research concentrates on monetary and development economics. He has published in World Development and other outlets that focus on development economics. Dr. Quayes has taught courses in Money and Banking, International Monetary Economics, Development Economics, Public Finance, and Macroeconomics. He is a member of the American Economic Association and is originally from Bangladesh.
