Mars Space Flight Facility

Description

The Mars Space Flight Facility supports the Thermal Emission Imaging System (THEMIS) on the Mars Odyssey spacecraft and the Mini-TES (Mini-Thermal Emission Spectrometers) on the Mars Exploration Rovers. Additionally, the Mini-Thermal Emission Spectrometer (Mini-TES) is on each of the Mars Exploration Rovers, Spirit and Opportunity. The facility also houses the ASU Mars Education Program, which provides opportunities for teachers and students to join in the excitement of Mars exploration. Tours are available for school groups by appointment only.
