ASU provides Gmail for ASU accounts for students, and Microsoft Exchange accounts for employees. Employees can use Microsoft Outlook for PCs or Microsoft Entourage for Macs to access their email on Exchange and Outlook Web Access ("OWA") on the Web. Students can use Gmail for ASU to access their email over the Web or with their favorite email program.

How do I sign up for an ASU email account?

Student Email

Students can use Gmail for ASU as soon as they have an ASURITE UserID and password. Sign up now! You may access your Gmail for ASU mailbox through the web at https://email.asu.edu or by using your favorite email "client," or program, like Mac Mail or Thunderbird.

Employee Email

New and existing employees can self-subscribe to the Faculty/Staff Exchange service and may also use a Gmail for ASU service. An Exchange account provides users with all the features of Outlook, including calendaring and meeting notices. Users also have access to Exchange public folders. To subscribe to the Exchange service, go to ASURITE Service Subscriptions and log in with your ASURITE UserID and password. Choose ASU Main Campus Exchange (Outlook E-mail). You may access your Exchange mailbox through the web using Outlook Web Access at http://exchange.asu.edu or by using an email "client" like Outlook or Entourage.
