Bibliographic and Metadata Services Department

 

The Bibliographic and Metadata Services Department is responsible for providing the whole range of technical services to the Arizona State University Libraries Tempe campus: acquiring library materials in all formats and languages, paying for materials, cataloging monographic and serial materials and resources, preparing materials for binding, and physically processing materials.

Bibliographic and Metadata Services consists of 9 units: Accounting, Bibliographic Searching/Ordering, Monographic Receiving/Copy Cataloging, Catalog Management/Authority Control, Original Cataloging, Non Roman Acquisitions and Cataloging, Monographic Processing, Serial Holdings Maintenance and Serials Receiving.
