OTHER PLACES TO LOOK

The Arizona Collection in the Luhrs Reading Room on the 4th floor has a folklore archive consisting of undergraduate essays from the classes of Drs. Kristin Valentine and Kay Sands at ASU. This collection was started in 1977 and additional essays are added annually. There is a manuscript collection guide that should be used to locate particular essays. The Monthly Catalog in the Government Documents section of Hayden Library (3rd floor), has entries on folklore as well. There are quite a few journals devoted to folklore that can be found by looking in the Current Periodicals Service under the call letters GR.
