Posthumous collection of works on exotic plants mainly from Crete, with beautiful engravings of plants described. The table of contents lists each plant discussed, but there are a few minor pagination errors. The work is divided into two books (bound together). The first book covers plants in Crete, and the entries are primarily one page in length, detailing in a narrative style, the habitats of the plants as well as their potential uses. The second book has longer entries and deals with plants which are found in limited quantity in Crete, but are more abundant in Egypt, Greece, Syria, and other locations.
