Write-n-Cite is a utility that allows you to cite your sources from within a Microsoft word document. It will format both the in-text citations, and the reference list/bibliography automatically.
First log into RefWorks. From the Refworks screen, choose Write-n-Cite from the "Tools" menu.

A new window will pop up. From that window, choose the download appropriate for your computer, either Windows or Mac.

From the Finder menu, click on the GO pulldown menu, and choose APPLICATIONS (See screenshot). Double click on the Write-N-Cite icon in the APPLICATIONS folder to start Write-N-Cite.

From the Write-N-Cite pulldown menu, choose PREFERENCES.

Then on the Write-N-Cite popup screen, select PROXY

Enter:
http://ezproxy1.lib.asu.edu/login?url=https://www.refworks.com/Refworks/?WNC=true
in the Proxy Server URL textbox. And, click OK.
Note: Mac users will click on the WORD pulldown menu, select ACTIVATE, and then from a list of open WORD files, choose the WORD file you would like to work with or activate.
