The Downtown Phoenix campus library is one of eight ASU Libraries. The library provides access to books and other research resources focusing on materials of particular interest to majors in the anchor fields taught at the Downtown campus: including, but not limited to: healthcare innovation, nursing, public administration, social work, recreation and tourism management, etc.
Downtown campus students have access to over 25,000 print volumes on site. Additionally, students, faculty and staff can also request books and other materials from the over 4 million volumes in the ASU Libraries’ collections and access to numerous electronic resources available from ASU.
Nursing and Healthcare Innovation students may also want to visit the American Museum of Nursing, located at Curry Road & Mill Avenue in Tempe.

Subject librarians are typically available Monday to Friday 8 am to 4 pm or by appointment.

The ASU Ask a Librarian service provides several ways to get assistance including 24/7 online chat, email, in-person and telephone.

The Downtown Phoenix campus Information Commons contains approximately 65 computers, including 10 iMacs and several workstations for students with disabilities. Computing support is provided from the DPC Classroom Support section of the University Technology Office. All computers include high speed internet access and Microsoft Office applications. Other software applications are available through the Citrix system.
In addition to school computer workstations, the Downtown Phoenix campus Information Commons features wireless internet connectivity and several desks where students can plug in for electric power and network connectivity.
Public access computers are available at the North end of the Information Commons near the service desk. Public access is limited to one hour per day. Computers for ASU affiliated users (students, faculty and staff) are located in the South end and can be accessed via the ASURite ID.
The Information Commons has three scanners and two copiers available. Computers with scanners are available on a first come first serve basis. Printing is available from all computers. Please check here for printing and copying rates.
