This is a table of contents index to the 17,000+ journals and magazines received by the libraries in the Colorado consortium. The table of contents is scanned by computer, so the subject access is only as good as the title of the article and any comment the magazine editor supplied on the contents page. This is an excellent source if up-to-the-minute sources are needed.

This is a general index with good coverage of Canadian business. Since this is indexed from a Canadian view of the world, it is a good contrast to articles found in U.S. indexes on the same topics.

To find out what the U.S. Congress is doing, this is the index to use. The reports to and hearings made before Congress and its various committees are indexed very thoroughly by this work. Access is by subject, bill number, committee, personal names, public law numbers, and SuDOC number. The electronic version is enhanced with links to news stories and additional information. One of the longest running general indexes, this one covers current events and people in the news. This, along with Periodical Abstracts, EbscoHost, and Newsbank, are sometimes the only places to find articles about business people in the news and articles that explain the relevance of world events to business. Also a good source of consumer related information and of articles on popular culture. The abstracted version is on the ASU Network.

Covers all the social sciences. Although coverage of certain aspects of business is weak, it is strong in such areas as consumer behavior, marketing research, demographics, ethics, and so on. For articles written from 1907-1974, use this index's previous titles: Social Science and Humanities Index, International Index, and International Index to Periodicals (all have the call number: AI 3 .R49 HAYDEN REFERENCE)
- State Capital Universe. Washington DC: Congressional Information Service, 1999- .
Information on the pending legislation, hearings, and other activities of the legislatures of the 50 states with some information included on the commonwealths, protectorates and territories of the United States. This is equivalent to the Congressional Universe listed above.
