    Provides computer-searchable abstracts for business-related articles in over 1200 English-language scholarly journals and general business magazines worldwide. It can be searched by subject terms (descriptors), keywords, company name, geographic area, etc. The periodicals it covers makes it particularly well suited to finding information on business practices and management issues. About half the entries include the full text of the article.

Indexing has a marketing orientation emphasizing facts, figures, and key events related to companies, industries, markets, and products. Can also be searched by enhanced SIC codes.

    A basic index to more than 350 business periodicals with abstracts in the online version since 1992. This is mostly useful for researching older years that predate the other business indexes. For articles written from 1913 to 1957, use this index's previous title, Industrial Arts Index (T 1 .I52x SCIENCE REFERENCE).

    Excellent source for locating articles on various companies, industries, and economic conditions. Indexed by expanded SIC codes and company name (in separate sections), this source is especially valuable for its coverage of numerous trade journals as well as general business publications, the Wall Street Journal, and the business section of the New York Times. This coverage makes it particularly useful for finding information on smaller companies and industries. The Europe and International editions also provide indexing by country subdivided by SIC. Use the International edition for everything except United States and Europe.

    This source provides comprehensive and up-to-date, computer-searchable subject indexing of more than 960 business periodicals. Coverage includes the Wall Street Journal and the business section of the New York Times for the last 90 days. It is especially useful for information on smaller companies found in trade journals and regional business newspapers. Full text is available for about half the sources since 1993. Also includes directory information for 150,000 companies and the latest issues of full text investment analysts' reports from Investext for companies and industries.
