Examples of information that will be available only through the intranet includes:
In addition to core organizational information, individual libraries, departments and workgroups will be developing their own sections of the intranet. In these spaces groups can share document and files, host discussion forums, post announcements and may have their own shared calendar. Many department spaces have already been created, but if you would like to request space for your group, please contact Tammy Allgood.

Library Channel: ASU's West Campus a Point of Pride
In early 2008, ASU’s West campus was selected as a “Point of Pride” by the Phoenix Pride Commission. The honor, which is awarded every four years, recognizes a landmark or attraction unique to and located within the city that evokes a sense of pride among area residents. In this Library Channel episode, host Tammy Allgood interviews West campus leaders, staff and alumni in a discussion about what truly makes the West campus a point of pride. Guests include:
- Elizabeth Langland, ASU Vice President and Dean of the New College of Interdisciplinary Arts and Sciences
- Marilyn Myers, Director of Fletcher Library and long-time employee of ASU
- Ryan Caracciolo, Student Body President for 2008-2009
- Mark Ceser, ASU College of Human Services alumnus, graduated with a degree in Communication Studies in 1994
- Jenni Thomas, community relations coordinator with ASU’s Public Affairs Office at the West campus

Sound Off Future
Some astute observers noted that there have been some changes in Sound Off lately. We are happy to announce that Jennie Duvernay, Marketing and Outreach Officer for the ASU Libraries, has jointed the Sound Off editorial team. Jennie and Kurt Murphy will continue to collaborate to produce Sound Off, soon to be in its new home in the ASU Libraries Intranet. We will soon be making more announcements about the new Sound Off.
We thank Matt Trobaugh for his dedication and creativity in producing Sound Off for the past several years.

Recruitment
When applying for any position at ASU, please address work experience as it relates to each required and preferred qualification, and state complete employment dates (month/year). The Selection Advisory Committee (SAC) cannot give credit for qualifications not clearly documented on the resume.
Also, it is a good idea to (1) ask the person(s) you want to use as a reference for permission first; and (2) remember, when interviewing as an internal candidate, the SAC scores on answers to the questions not on what they think or assume you know.
