Please restrict list to required readings only.
In conformance with the Fair Use interpretation of the Copyright Law, the Library may accept one copy of any copyrighted item for one semester/one time only; or permission to copy needs to be obtained from the copyright owner and submitted to Reserve.
The Library accepts no responsibility for damage or loss of personal copies or for the contents of the articles either in terms of monitoring their use, checking their contents for lost or missing material after use or for checking their contents for compliance with the Copyright Law. The responsibility rests solely with the faculty member who places the material on Library Reserve. This institution reserves the right to refuse to accept photocopies if, in its judgment, they are in violation of Copyright Law.
Items requested to remain on Reserve for more than one semester must be reviewed by the instructor at the end of each semester.
Instructors are responsible for picking up their materials at the end of each semester.
The following form is for submitting Course Reserve requests electronically. Personal materials and photocopies must still be submitted to the appropriate Reserve Department by the instructor (Reserve staff does not pull and photocopy journal articles or book chapters). Library owned circulating books will be pulled from the stacks or recalled by Library staff.
All requests for Course Reserve must meet the standards set in the Reserve Services Guidelines. For additional information regarding ASU Libraries' Reserve policies, procedures and copyright restrictions see the Reserve Services Guidelines.
Submission of the following form indicates agreement of the above terms.
