View your library account
By viewing your account you can
- See the status of items checked out to you.
- Renew items checked out to you.
- See fees and fines, if any.
- Add and/or modify your e-mail address.
- Search the catalog, save searches, and request certain library material.
- See the status of items you have requested.
- Verify Media Bookings.
From the ASU Libraries Web page, click on MY LIBRARY ACCOUNT and follow instructions:
- Access to your account requires an ASURite ID and password. For more information or to reset your password see ASURITE User IDs.
View Transaction Fees and Fines
Go to My Account
and follow instructions:

Click on the Unpaid fines button to view any fees or fines associated with your account
Renew your books (while viewing your Circulation Record)
Go to My Account and follow instructions:

Click on Checked out Items button. You can sort by due date.
- You can Renew All or Renew Selected Items. Confirm your renewals by scrolling down through the entire list of items checked out.
- You may renew all items that qualify for renewal unless your account is blocked due to outstanding fines, overdue recalls, expired registration or renewal limits exceeded.

The following items cannot be renewed:
- Videos, laserdiscs and DVD's
- Reserves
- Recalled items
- Interlibrary loans
- Check with the owning library to verify other non-renewable items

Email Add/Modify:
Go to My Account and follow instructions:

Click the Add/Modify Email button. This will open a new window.

Update your email address in this window and click Submit.
Request/Recall Items from ASU Libraries
- Search the On-Line Catalog for items.
- Once an item is located, click on the Request button.
- Authenticate using ASUrite ID and password
- Select a Pick-up Location.
- Scroll down to Submit button and click.
- If there are multiple entries for a single title, mark the one you want then click on Request Selected Item button.
- Make sure that you receive the confirmation message: YOUR REQUEST FOR {TITLE, AUTHOR} WAS SUCCESSFUL.
**Note: Not all items qualify for RECALL/REQUEST
Most items checked-out from the general stacks collection may be recalled.
Check with Circulation for complete Recall Policy Information.
Notification is sent when Recall items are returned. When viewing your account On-line, these items will have a status of READY FOR PICK-UP.
Items that are marked "Shelf" may be requested for delivery between campuses OR, on the Tempe Campus, up to 5 'shelf' items per day may be requested for pickup at one of the 4 Tempe campus libraries. Information may be found at: http://www.asu.edu/lib/services/request/
Check the status of Requested Material
Go to
My Account
and follow instructions:
Click the Check Requests button to view a list of items you have requested.
The status will be one of the following:

| SHELF or AVAILABLE |
Request has not been processed yet. |
| DUE followed by a date |
The date the item is due back. Does not guarantee availability by that date. |
| IN TRANSIT |
Item is between library locations. |
| READY |
Item has arrived and is ready for you to pick up at the Circulation Desk. |
| ON SEACH |
The item was not found on the shelf. The library will search for ten days then notify you if not found. |
