Payment options
You have three options for paying your fines -- online with MasterCard, Discover, American Express or e-check; in person at the Circulation Desks at Fletcher Library (West), the Downtown Phoenix campus Library, the Library at the Polytechnic campus, the Law Library or the central Billing Office at Tempe - Hayden Library. Payment may also be made at any cashier's office with cash, check, or credit card; or by mail with check or money order.
Pay your fines online through a secure server with MasterCard, Discover, American Express or e-check.
In order to assure that your library fine is paid, it is preferred that you pay the total charges currently due and bring your Student Accounts Receivable balance to zero. The reason being any funds received by Accounts Receivable are automatically allocated to the oldest charge present on your student account. If there are any other charges pending (a parking fine or student health charge, for example) that predate your library fine, your funds will be allotted to those charges rather than paying your library fine.
When you pay online there may be delay of around three days for the library to know that your account has been paid. If you are experiencing difficulties with Library payments and credits after you pay online, call the library billing office at 480-965-3106.

| Saturday | Closed |
| Sunday | 10am - 7pm |
Circulation Desk, Hayden Library
You may pay fines at the Circulation desk after the billing office has closed; however, the fines may not be removed from your library account until billing processes the payment, usually the next business day. You will not be able to renew online or in person until billing processes the payment. In the interim, you can request an account "override" slip to enable you to resume checking out and renewing materials in person that evening. Please retain that slip and your payment receipt for reference in the event that you need to provide proof of payment to circulation or billing department.
If paying at circulation with cash, you will also need the exact amount as the staff is not able to make change.
If you experience difficulties after you pay at circulation, please contact the billing office at 480-965-3106.

Any books that are paid for (either directly or through Financial Aid disbursement) and returned to the library within a year of payment are eligible for partial refund. After a year, the replacement payments are used by Collection Development to either replace the original item or purchase a different title. Refunds will not be issued beyond one year after payment. However, the Libraries will accept the books as donations to the collection.
