Instruction Lab
Policy and Procedures
I. Purpose
The instruction lab facilities provided by University Libraries are intended primarily for library-based instruction in support of the ASU curriculum and programs. Additional acceptable uses are library-related meetings, library staff training, and other library-sponsored activities.
II. Facilities Covered
The instruction lab facilities covered by the policy are the demonstration lab in Hayden C6* and the mediated labs in Hayden C41 and Noble 105.
*Hayden 133 serves as an alternate demonstration lab when Hayden C6 is not available.
III. Use Parameters
Scheduling of the labs is first-come, first-served unless otherwise noted.
ASU-affiliated groups requesting a library facility for instruction not requiring the use of electronic databases or printed library materials should be referred to Hayden or Noble for a group study room.

IV. Scheduling Procedures
Hayden labs are scheduled by calling University Libraries Administration (965-3417). The instruction room at Noble Science and Engineering Library is scheduled through the Science Reference Office (965-7609).
