Existing data warehouse users will have access!
Current users of the legacy database already have access to My Reports. No action is necessary for these users. Use your ASURITE id to access My Reports.
Please refresh your knowledge of FERPA regulations by taking the online FERPA training and reviewing and practice good data citizenship.
New User Requests
If you do not have access to the legacy data warehouse, follow the instructions for requesting access at "Requesting Data Warehouse Access." Requests for access to the ASU data warehouse will include access to My Reports.
FERPA
The Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) limits the access to educational records. STUDENT database users received FERPA training when they received access to the ASU Data Warehouse. Users are strongly encouraged to refresh their knowledge of FERPA by taking the online FERPA training course.
To take the online FERPA training,
- Go to Blackboard
- Click on the Courses tab.
- Search for OASIS, click go
- Find the FERPA refresher course in the list. There will be an "enroll" button to the far right of the course title – click on it. Then click ok and submit.
Then you should be in the course.
Data Citizenship Reminder
Access to the ASU Data Warehouse and My Reports requires users to practice good data citizenship. Users are responsible for minimizing the risk to the University associated with their access to the data warehouse.
- secure your computer hardware, especially laptops
- practice sound password security
- minimize downloaded data stored locally
- protect sensitive information by encrypting files
