The Arizona Board of Regents and the Faculty, Staff, Alumni and Students of Arizona State University proudly presented the installation of the institution’s sixteenth president

The celebration marked a new era for ASU as the New American University.

The installation was held on Friday, the eighth day of November, the year Two Thousand and Two at ten o’clock in the morning at Grady Gammage Memorial Auditorium in Tempe, Arizona

Inaugural activities commenced with the School of Music Collage Concert Tuesday, the fifth day of November at seven-thirty in the evening at Gammage Auditorium.  A Post-Inaugural Celebration followed the installation ceremony at eleven-thirty in the morning outside Gammage Auditorium.
