“Serenade:
An Inaugural Welcome to President Michael Crow” is a fast-paced
concert presented by the Herberger College of Fine Arts School of Music
at ASU.
The concert showcases
the School of Music’s top ensembles, including Wind Symphony,
Concert Choir, Concert Jazz Band and University Symphony Orchestra.
The program will also feature a number of the school’s internationally
acclaimed performing faculty. In addition, several Lyric Opera Theatre
performers will perform a scene from the company’s 2001-2002 production
of Mozart’s Cosi Fan Tutte. The performance will run approximately
one hour and 15 minutes, with no intermission.
Admission to the
concert is free, however tickets are required. Call the Gammage Box
Office, 480-965-3434, to order tickets in advance. Tickets will also
be available at the Box Office on the night of the concert.
