The Compensation Group provides guidance, strategic solutions and recommendations to positively influence organizational performance and results through job design, compensation delivery mechanisms and performance management to ensure equitable, fair treatment of all ASU staff members.

Compensation Consultants offer the following services:

  • They ensure the University’s compensation program is equitably administered, market competitive and rewards exceptional performance.
  • They assist ASU leaders and managers to align their organizations with the vision and mission of the New American University. 
  • They provide expertise in all aspects of compensation/classification consulting services. 
  • They assist embedded units to ensure equitable application of compensation/classification programs and practices across all campus units.

They also provide expertise and consultation regarding compensation and classification strategies through analysis of:

  • market dynamics
  • organizational needs
  • recruitment/retention trends and
  • performance measurement. 

Finally the group performs statistical trend and comparison analysis of compensation practices and helps university management to develop strategies and measures to ensure compliance with all applicable federal and state employment regulations, standards and requirements.
