How To Change Optional Retirement Plan Investment Companies

Step 1: Selecting the Optional Retirement Plan

  • Read the Optional Retirement Plan Guide reviewing each investment company’s highlights and investment options.
  • Understand Investment Fees and Expenses involved in investment company’s product offerings.
  • Contact investment company representatives if necessary to gain additional information to assist with making your decision.
  • Select your ORP investment company and outline your investment allocations.

Step 2: Complete Your Election of Retirement Option Form
PRINT OUT, COMPLETE and MAIL the Election of Retirement Option Form to:

NOTE: You must check the OPTIONAL CARRIER CHANGE box located in the upper right hand corner of the Election of Retirement Option Form. Your requested change will take place in the first available pay period following receipt of your Election of Retirement Option Form and Human Resources verification of your enrollment in the ORP investment company of choice.

Step 3: Complete the Online Account Enrollment with the Investment Company Selected
Use the web links (above, right) to enroll with the investment company of your choice. Please note the access code listed, because you will need it to register.

NOTE: If you already have an active ORP account under ASU/UA/NA or the Arizona Board of Regents with the investment company you are electing, you will not need to re-enroll using the online enrollment system; however, you must complete Step 2 above. You are encouraged to contact the investment company to ensure your address, beneficiary information and investment allocations are current.
