RETIREMENT MANAGER ONLINE

The Voluntary 403(b) Plan is a pre-tax savings program allowed under the Internal Revenue Code with no employer match. You pay no current federal or state income taxes on the amount you contribute, or on the interest or dividends earned. Income taxes are paid only when funds are distributed.


The Arizona University System now offers three providers:

  • VALIC
  • Fidelity Investments
  • TIAA-CREF 

Eligible employees
Any employee (including non-FICA paying employees) of the university (full-time, part-time, hourly, temporary) is eligible to participate in the 403(b) plan. You must be able to contribute a minimum of $5/pay period.

NEW CHANGES

  • Roth 403(b) option (available in the future);
  • Added Tier 1 option with best-in-class investments for each provider/vendor;
  • Opened eligibility to all employees (including non-FICA paying employees);
  • Selected third-party administrator and common remitter responsible for the coordination of all transactions;
  • Reduced your investors’ administrative fees in Tier 1 investments.

ENROLL OR MAKE CHANGES
RETIREMENT MANAGER ONLINE

Set your Internet Options Privacy setting to low, if necessary.

Click on I’m a New User.

On the Group Selection page,
locate the drop down menu and
select Arizona State University
Click Submit.

Follow the instructions in Retirement Manager.

The Arizona University System now offers a new online self-service Retirement Manager tool.  The Retirement Manager is a single, convenient and secure access point for university employees to manage Voluntary 403(b) Plan account(s).

The Retirement Manager gives you ready access to:

  • Enrolling in your Voluntary 403(b) Plan accounts;
  • A comprehensive source for financial planning information;
  • A set of easy-to-use, powerful financial calculators;
  • A secure way to manage your account(s);
    (NOTE: Account balances with AIG, Fidelity and TIAA-CREF will be loaded in January 2009.)
  • A way to determine if you are on track and contributing as much as the law allows.

All employees are eligible to participate in the Voluntary 403(b) Plan. Retirement Manager features include enrollment as well as changes to and termination of elections. Employees can select the pay date for the enrollment or change to be effective.
