Residential Colleges on the West Campus

At ASU, you can belong to a small community of students who share your academic and personal interests. Making friends and forming study groups becomes easy because you live and take classes together. The residential college living and learning experience provides academic support services such as tutoring, developmental workshops, academic advising as well as co-curricular programs offered within a traditional residential community building.

Barrett, The Honors College
The Barrett Honors Residential College offers opportunities for informal discussions with faculty, college-sponsored programming and support services designed specifically for honors students.

Mary Lou Fulton Teachers College
The Residential College for the Mary Lou Fulton Teachers College strives to develop a diverse community of future teachers by fostering intellectual and social growth through interaction with community members, and the Future Teachers of America Club.  Students will enjoy the benefits of both living with peers who have similar social and professional aspirations and are receiving specialized programming and direct access to faculty, staff and academic advisors.

New College of Interdisciplinary Arts and Sciences
The programs offered by the New College’s nationally renowned and award-winning faculty are designed to emphasize hands-on, up-close, experiential learning that spans many academic disciplines and provides its students with an expanded and enhanced appreciation for all forms of creative activity.
The New College Residential College is an academic community specifically designed for students who are pursuing a major in the arts or sciences.  This Residential College provides a residential environment for high achieving students who share a love for and commitment to the arts and sciences.  There are several social and academic activities sponsored by the college through the year to enhance residents’ educational experience.

W. P.  Carey School of Business
W. P.  Carey School of Business Residential Community provides Business students a place to expand their knowledge of the principles of business and grow intellectually and socially while learning to navigate an increasingly complex and diverse society.  Through planned activities and group experiences, students will have opportunities to interact with their peers, staff, and faculty and feel connected to their academic home at the W.P. Carey School of Business.
