Royalty Coronation: This event unites the ASU community and kicks off the homecoming celebration by crowing the 2006 Homecoming King and Queen. The homecoming King and Queen are selected based on multiple criteria such as academic and school involvement by a panel of judges. ![]()
Concert: This event starts off the week of homecoming by getting the ASU students excited by bringing a big name to the campus! ![]()
Sparky’s Lunch Bash: The homecoming committee welcomes local vendors to campus to provide lunch for ASU students at significant discounts (75% or more)! ![]()
Night of a Thousand Laughs: This is the annual comedy night during Homecoming. ASU welcomes a big name comedian and students are wowed and entertained by the humor of the night! ![]()
Sparky’s Homecoming Showdown:Water polo with a twist! There will be an inner tube water polo tournament on Sunday, October 15th for all student organizations on campus. It will be a single elimination tournament with basic water polo rules, running from 10:00am-5:00pm at the SRC pool. Teams can be 6-10 players, with 6 playing at all times. Registration form ![]()
Sun Devil Night in Tempe: This event unites ASU students and alumni as they invade Mill Avenue. Selected establishments on Mill Avenue offer significant discounts. In addition, students hang out at Harkins Theater for a concert and a free movie screening. ![]()
Spirit and Cultural Day: This event celebrates and supports the diversity and school pride at ASU. ![]()

ASU Classes without Quizzes: Join ASU’s top professors as they present short lectures on their current studies at ASU. Lantern Walk: The oldest tradition at ASU. This event is Homecoming’s signature event as it allows students to retrace the steps of previous students up “A” Mountain in a ceremony celebrating ASU Pride!![]()
A Look at What’s Changed: Alumni join the ASU tour guide group Devils Advocates as they get a chance to look at what has changed around ASU’s campus!![]()
Battle of the Bands: This event brings bands of the ASU community to compete against one another for up to $2000 in prize money and a chance to play at Tempe music festival. Get ready to rock the ASU community! ![]()
Parade: The annual parade welcomes the ASU community to show their accomplishments. This family event takes place on University and is a celebration of the entire community! Join Sparky, the ASU band, cheerleaders, and various student groups as they get pumped for the game and block party! ![]()

Cans Across America: Bring in a canned food donation on Wednesday, October 18th to help those in need within our community. At the same time, you'll be taking part in attempting to set a new Guiness World Record for the most cannded food donations collected during a single event, nation wide.
