University Commencement represents the culmination of a student’s academic achievement. It is a time of celebration and reflection for students, families, friends, faculty and staff. It brings together a diverse community to share in the joy of accomplished goals.

Graduates of ASU’s Tempe, West, Polytechnic, and Downtown campuses are invited to participate in the Spring Commencement Ceremony.

Convocations
College and cultural convocations are a time for smaller groups to gather and celebrate students’ graduation. The smaller setting provides the opportunity for individual recognition. Degrees are not conferred at convocations. For more information about a particular convocation, please contact the dean's office of the college.

Commencement & Convocation Schedule
Commencement and College Convocation times and locations are subject to change. Please confirm details of your convocation with the college dean’s office.

University Commencement and convocation ceremonies are special events for all involved. Please show respect for everyone who has come to share in the experience. Individuals who engage in inappropriate or disruptive behavior may be remove from the event.

As a courtesy to those around you and to our graduating students, please turn off pagers and cellular phones during the ceremony.
