GPSA offers Professional Development Travel Grants for students attending professional development workshops, training, exhibitions, competitions, and interviews/auditions for internships resulting in academic credit. The maximum award is $750 annually. Grants are awarded on a competitive basis and are not guaranteed. Grants will be awarded monthly for travel occuring from August 1, 2009 to May 31, 2010.

This program is administered through the GPSA Vice President of Professional Programs (Jennifer D. Eden).

Please note important dates & deadlines for 2008-2009

  • July 15th at 5 PM is the deadline for the first funding cycle of 2009-2010 academic year
  • Applications are due online by 5 p.m. on the 15th of each month
  • Please note: GPSA requires applications to be accompanied by either an electronic trip ID number (for domestic travel) OR a paper Travel Authorization form (for international travel or travel outside the 48 states). Explanations are included on the Application Information page
  • Receipts MUST be submitted within five days of conference travel to insure proper reimbursement
  • Final Receipts will NOT be accepted after June 5th for May travel
