Welcome to the Goldwater Environmental Lab at Arizona State University.

The Goldwater Environmental Laboratory is a shared-use facility available to all ASU research staff, faculty, and students. Managed by Tom Colella, the facility encompasses seven laboratories and is presently part of the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences Bioresources cluster (www.asu.edu/gel). We are located on the sixth floor of the Goldwater Center for Engineering Research. Resources include GC/MS, Flame and Furnace AA, ICP-OES, CHNS/O, UV/Vis, TOC/TIC, Ion Chromatograph, and Wet Chemistry Autoanalyzers and associated support equipment. The facility is operated by a team of ASU personnel committed to providing the tools necessary to meet the analytical needs of researchers while creating a valuable educational experience for users.

This site has been designed to better acquaint you with the facilities, instruments and equipment available to all ASU (and some non-ASU) researchers. It will also serve to familiarize you with guidelines and policies regarding their use.

Please take the time to browse the pages listed on this site. For more information contact Tom Colella at (480) 965-6298 or via e-mail at t.colella@asu.edu.
