The Goldwater Environmental Laboratory is a shared-use facility
available to all ASU research staff, faculty, and students. Managed by Tom
Colella, the facility encompasses seven laboratories and is presently part
of the College
of Liberal Arts and
Sciences Bioresources cluster (www.asu.edu/gel). We are located on the
sixth floor of the Goldwater
Center for
Engineering Research. Resources include GC/MS, Flame and Furnace AA,
ICP-OES, CHNS/O, UV/Vis, TOC/TIC, Ion Chromatograph, and Wet Chemistry
Autoanalyzers and associated support equipment. The facility is operated by
a team of ASU personnel committed to providing the tools necessary to meet
the analytical needs of researchers while creating a valuable educational
experience for users.
This site has been designed to better acquaint you with the facilities,
instruments and equipment available to all ASU (and some non-ASU)
researchers. It will also serve to familiarize you with guidelines and
policies regarding their use.
