   Restrooms and Stairs

These signs are intended to identify permanent spaces and features such as Restrooms and Stairs. These permanent spaces and features require signs with symbols, tactile text and Grade 2 Braille. The symbols and characters are white, 1/36" thick tactile. The signs must be installed 62" from the finished floor to the top of the sign so that a person can approach to within 3" of the sign without encountering any protruding objects or standing within the swing of the door.

These signs are engraved with the Tactile/Braille feature on 10" x 10" hard plastic.

   No Smoking; No Food or Drink

These signs are adhesive decals and come in small (6" x 6") and large (10" x 10") sizes. When mounted on a wall, they are ordered with a rigid plastic backing.

The ARS code is referenced on the No Smoking signs. Charcoal color is used for inside signs; gray for outside. Please send us an email or call 965-1357 to order for variations on wording and sizes.

   AED Signs

These signs are meant to draw attention to Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs) in various building and campus locations. Available signs consist of the following:

  • A white plastic V-shaped sign that protrudes from the wall.
  • A 3" x 9" vinyl decal with brief instructions, on a rigid plastic back.
  • A 6" x 6" vinyl decal, optionally on a rigid plastic back.
These signs have specific location requirements.
