Apply what you are learning, gain valuable teaching experience, and contribute a much-needed service to your community!
COURSE DESCRIPTION: LIN 584
This is a three-credit hour, graded service learning internship that allows you to develop your teaching skills by working in "real world" situations. Your primary responsibility will be to teach in English to adult English language learners in the Phoenix area. This internship is open to students seeking a degree in Teaching English as a Second Language, Linguistics, or a related field. The internship uses an innovative "team-teaching" approach, in which lessons are planned and taught through collaboration between teaching partners.
