What you will find on this site

This web site provides support to students enrolled in the course EDA 691B, Dilemmas of Cultural Diversity in Administration, in the College of Education, Arizona State University. The site is organic. It will change from time to time as we learn more about supporting graduate and professional education through the World Wide Web.

This course is not currently available to be taken on the web so this is not an instructional web page. What we aspire to do with it is to keep the objectives, readings, assignments, grading system, etc. available for easy reference. We also want to provide electronic means to enhance interactivity among members of the class, and provide links to online resources that will enhance the readings and discussions done in class. In short, by using the web we aim to help create a good learning environment.

It is my hope that through this technology the course can be kept fresh, current, and easily updated from one offering to the next. To do this well we need your help. As you find online resources of your own we hope you will offer them up to be included on this site thereby making a contribution not only to your own class but to those who take the course in the future.

Students -- and visitors alike -- are encouraged to submit suggestions on ways to improve this web site to make it more helpful and easier to use. Please send your comments and suggestions to Professor Josué González, the originator of this course. His e-mail address is given below. Thank you for your cooperation!

Muchas gracias!

p.s. A word about intellectual property. Most people who use the World Wide Web regularly value the free exchange of information it provides, especially the use of data and information for use in classrooms. Having said that, I would hasten to add that we also believe in and respect the creative and scientific acumen that results in the creation of intellectual resources of all types. We ask therefore, that you not replicate any of these materials without speaking to me about it and, that if you link electronically to this site that you let us know that you have done so. There is no need to get permission for linking to us on the web.
