Nancy Y. McGovern is the Digital Preservation Officer and heads the new Research Department in Instruction, Research, and Information Services (IRIS) at Cornell University Library. She is the co-editor of RLG DigiNews. She has over 15 years of experience with digital preservation initiatives, including a decade working on electronic records at the National Archives and Records Administration (NARA), and is working on her PhD in digital preservation at University College London.
