Russ Savage is the Arizona Electronic Transactions Liaison in Office of the Secretary of State, and directs development of electronic signatures in Arizona, including creating electronic notary services. Mr. Savage is chair of the Arizona’s Digital Government Working Group’s Electronic Records Life Cycle task team and also chairs Arizona’s multi-jurisdictional Electronic Records Research Initiative. Mr. Savage has been a consultant for the state technology oversight organization, the Government Information Technology Agency, and brings to these activities thirty years’ experience as an operations and IT manager of business process change and technology consultant for both private and public sector businesses. He has also been a radio and internet commentator on technology trends.
