Getting Started. If you are serious about improving your grades, keep reading, but consider yourself warned: In this workshop you will be asked to consider new ideas, question your own assumptions, and try new strategies. There are no secret formulas for success, but there are ways to figure out what works best for you. However, as with all academic tools, how well this site works for you depends almost entirely on how well you work this site. Start by recognizing that the notion of success at ASU is a long-term proposition. It will take less than 30 minutes to go through all the information presented here. Yet if you are serious about improving your GPA, you will acknowledge that this web site is nothing more than a starting point. When you were admitted to ASU it was because of your academic ability. You met or exceeded certain criteria. We thought you would succeed, and still do. We want you to succeed, but the next step is yours: Take advantage of the tools we are offering, ask for help when you need it, and commit yourself to improvement. Your hard work will be rewarded. |
