ASU Jargon: All of the other links on this site deal with knowledge (of
self, of culture, of vocation), but what about meta-knowledge?
Knowing about knowing? Knowing where to go? Do you know what the
following acronyms mean: UC, SRC, SCOB, BAC, SORC, IRC, MSC,
MU? This is your campus, and you should know how to navigate it.
It is always helpful to ask someone, but it is also important to
empower yourself to navigate the university. In terms of a
societal age span, the bureaucracy is a relatively new
phenomenon in a capitalist society (as you SOC101 folks should
know). Knowing how to get by in this burgeoning field will make
your job of getting to and succeeding at class that much easier:
