Involvement: Studies have shown campus
activities, in reasonable doses, can actually improve a GPA.
And there's no doubt that extracurricular activities can enhance
your college experience. For many, getting involved
rekindles their dedication to their studies. But getting
involved can be intimidating to some, especially at a school as
large as ASU. Just how do you find others with interest in
science fiction, snowboarding, snail-raising or whatever? How do you connect to the
various local agencies to continue being active in the
community? ASU has a number of organizations and clubs that will
help you continue your involvement, or just help you explore any
number of hobbies or activities that always sounded interesting.
